Destination South Shore Services
Your one-stop place for all South Shore travel information.
Known as the cultural heart of Kyrgyzstan, the South Shore of Lake Issyk-Kul also has some of the most scenic and diverse topography in the country. Our gorgeous natural landscapes range from summer pastures covered in wildflowers to painted canyons and rock formations to sandy beaches along one of the world’s largest salt-water lakes. Our outdoor adventures and attractions are only a piece of the puzzle that makes South Shore so fascinating — step into nomadic culture when you take a shyrdak felt-making class, build your own yurt, or learn the essence of Salbuurun eagle hunting.
Let us serve as your ambassadors to this fascinating region filled with Kyrgyz history and traditions. With an office located in Bokonbaevo city center, the team at Destination South Shore is dedicated to helping independent travelers enjoy everything on offer. Key services include:
- Assistance booking accommodations anywhere in the South Shore region
- Answering questions and serving as a coordination point for outdoor adventures, classes, workshops, treks, and more.
- Helping facilitate logistics and onward travel across the South Shore, or to other destinations in Issyk-Kul and neighboring regions.
